Jamil Shaaban is the founder and a managing attorney of Shaaban & Biedgoly. He is committed to providing personalized, dedicated, and exceptional representation to every single one of his clients throughout California.

Jamil began his career representing some of the largest and well-known insurance companies. Throughout his time on both sides of the legal field, Jamil has handled cases dealing with multiple 8 and 9 figure settlements. Jamil not only witnessed how insurance companies treated people suffering from legitimate and life-altering injuries, but also why personal injury attorneys were traditionally stereotyped as being sleazy.

He decided to launch Shaaban & Biedgoly (formerly, Shaaban Law) to make a difference in the world by providing compassionate yet aggressive representation to personal injury victims. Because of his experience representing insurance companies, Jamil is not fooled by the tactics used to undervalue and under-compensate injured parties

After graduating from California State University, Northridge, he attended Chapman University’s, Dale E. Fowler School of Law. At Chapman, Jamil specialized in negotiation, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution. He has been widely recognized nationally and internationally for his negotiation and mediation skills, including securing back-to-back world championships with his partner, Cameron Biedgoly, at the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) World Championship in 2019 and the ADR ODR Negotiation Competition World Championship in 2020. Additionally, during his time at Chapman Jamil attended the Chapman University, George L. Argyros School of Business and Economics, where he obtained a Master's in Business Administration.

From an early age, Jamil knew he wanted to be an attorney. Jamil was raised in a blue-collar family where hard work, perseverance, and treating people with respect are values instilled from birth. Throughout his life, Jamil has also witnessed how people, just like his family, without proper and knowledgeable legal representation, can feel voiceless in their most challenging times.

In his free time, Jamil enjoys riding and racing motorcycles, working out, and being on the lake with his wife and dog.
